今天是10月15日， Blog Action Day ‘09 ，一个由全球Blogger自发组织，共同为了某项议题而发起倡议、发动宣传的博客行动节日。今年的主题是 Climate Change 。XDash 在一周前获知此活动并填报加入。根据官网统计，截止目前，共有7,714 个博客、140 个国家以及11,524,841为读者加入本次活动。

原本打算整理一些主题的资料，只可惜最近学业和活动的高密度导致我只能简单地从国外网站拉来一篇文章现场翻译。我选择了官方推荐的《5 Ways Climate Change Will Change Business in the 21st Century》这篇文章。时间有限，水平浅陋，翻译错漏在所难免，希望各位原谅。

In the 21st century, businesses will not only have to contend with the changes in Earth’s climate caused by human choices, but they will also have to plan carefully to ensure their own continuation in light of those changes.

Whether you’re an Internet-only outfit organizing electrons in creative ways or a grounded offline business making actual things from actual materials, you’ve got to get a firm grip on the impact of climate change on your manufacturing processes.

Even service-oriented companies must be aware of climate change because it affects their customers’ lives and therefore their ability to serve those customers.

5. Work Locations and Routines

In light of oncoming climate change, should you really rent that downtown office? Should you wield those electronic devices? Should you limit night-time work hours to make the fullest possible use of natural lighting?

面对即将到来的气候变化趋势，是否应当租下那家市中心的办公室？是否该购置那些电子设备？是否应当为了最大限度地利用白天的日光能而限制夜间工作时间？

These and many similar questions must cross the minds of modern business owners and managers.
