Writeboard – 支持多人协作的免费轻量级在线文档项目Web应用
Writeboard 是一款支持多人协作的免费轻量级在线文档项目应用，全程通过浏览器在 Web 内进行操作。
这是今天 Plidezus 为某项目发来邀请时，我刚发现的好玩意儿。Writeboard 由 37Signals 公司带来。他们旗下的知名产品包括 Ruby on Rails ，Backpack，以及《Getting Real》一书。
Writeboard 允许你创建并与朋友共同维护一份在线文档（富文本格式，不支持图片、视频）。你甚至不需要注册账号，就能创建一个协作项目，仅仅需要的是提供该项目的名称、访问密码（可选，只有输入正确的密码才能访问项目页面）、Email地址即可。
如上图，您可以对当前项目文档进行命名，并通过文本方式进行编辑。
Writeboard 支持通过 Email 方式与他人共享文档。发送邀请后，好友将会收到邀请邮件，点击右键链接，输入密码（如果有的话），就能访问该项目的页面，加入进来，同样无需注册。
如此简便的协作分享方式，的确可成为 Google Docs 在国内的绝佳替代品（如果协作的项目不是非常复杂）。
Writeboard 的另一个优秀的特性，在于它能够实现版本控制！右侧会罗列历次编辑者和编辑时间的版本信息，选择过去某一次的版本，就能查看，并且可以恢复（reverse）。简直是一个微型的维基系统了。
选择多个版本，点击“Compare”按钮，还能进行版本比较，清楚地通过高亮方式呈现变更的信息，让你快速发现修改过的地方。
此外，参与者还能对项目文档进行留言评论。
综合看来，Writeboard 非常适合快速上手的短期协作、多人之间的内容传递、临时的便签、松散组织成员之间的留言板等。相比多人之间通过网盘同步、Email 交换、IM 传输，Writeboard 的 Web 方式更加直观快捷。

COOOOL，不过这个和Google Docs 的竞争力在哪里？
有些时候介绍就够了，不过偶尔出几款同类型的服务的差异比较，就更棒了

即便不考虑国情，这个的竞争力也在于门槛很低啊~我的好多同学都不愿为了一起编辑一个文档要申google账号+翻墙，搞得我都想在学校的服务器上搭一个类似这样的应用。。

还一个选择是zoho系列，来自印度的超强（超全）在线办公套件——国内也有代理商（百会）。

@沈蚊, Zoho也是要注册，而且套件组建繁多，上手成本高了点，不适合短小精悍的微型协作。

Zoho比起Gdoc还是显得复杂
Gdoc跟这个比起来还是显得复杂
简单真是可怕的一种力量～
